Welcome to Belleville School
Thank you for your interest in Belleville Primary School. We are a friendly, supportive and successful school at the centre of our local community. Our children are happy and settled here. While we are a large school, we never lose sight of an individual child’s experience and our focus on your child’s wellbeing. We retained our Ofsted 'Outstanding' rating in March 2022 and are part of the Quality First Education Trust. Our children achieve well beyond the national average.and go onto a wide range of excellent state and independent schools when they finish primary school.
School Tours
We'd recommend coming on a school tour to find out more about our vibrant and inclusive school. We offer regular small group tours for parents and carers interested in a place at Belleville throughout the year as well as two larger open mornings each year. To find out more and book your place, please visit our School Tours page.
You can also view our virtual tour, download our prospectus or hear from our current pupils about what life is like at Belleville.
How to apply
You can make an application to apply for Belleville at any time and we do occasionally have places available in each year group when families have moved away from the area. We are always very happy to help if you have questions before applying or if you would like to know if there might be a place available. Please contact the School Office on 020 7228 6727 or email enquiries@belleville.q1e.org.uk and they will be happy to answer your questions or arrange a tour.
Although applications for places are in Years 1 to 6 are made through Wandsworth Council, we would recommend contacting Belleville School first as we will be able to advise you whether there are currently any places available in the year group you are interested in.
To apply through Wandsworth Council, please email admissions@wandsworth.gov.uk or call them on 020 8871 7316. Further information can be found on their website.
If a place is available, we will contact you to offer you the place. If there are no spaces currently available in that year group, your child will be added to the waiting list and we will contact you once they have reached the top of the waiting list and a place is available. Our full admissions policy is available here.
Once you receive an offer, you can either accept the offer, or if you would prefer a different site, you can decline the place and stay on the waiting list (although we cannot guarantee that another space or the site you prefer will become available).
When you accept your place we can then arrange start date, uniform, and any other information you need. We will also talk to you about what could help your child as they start at a new school.
We look forward to welcoming you to Belleville!
