General Parent/Carer Survey July 2021
At the end of the summer term 2021 we sent a general survey to parents and carers with 105 responses.
Of these responses, parents and carers were very positive (90% or more agree) about the following areas:
· My child is happy at Belleville and enjoys coming to school
· My child feels safe at Belleville
· I feel welcome at Belleville
· My child is well taught
· My child achieves well
· My child makes good progress
· I can talk to my child’s teachers if I need to
· The Belleville office staff are polite and helpful
· The school email system keeps me up to date and well informed
· Overall, I am happy with Belleville School
When thinking about the plans for the next few years, these areas were where parents/carers thought we should concentrate on most:
Response in 2021/22
Our school improvement plan for 2021/22 is below and with (the hopefully continued) reduction of Covid-19 measures we have already been able to:
· re-start school trips
· increase the number and range of extra-curricular clubs
· held a series of parent/carer workshops
· participated in a series of sports competitions
· increased the time and support in school for children who may need it
As communication and engagement is one of our main improvement foci for this year, particularly as we come out of two disrupted school years due to Covid-19, we intend to send more short surveys on general and specific topics during the year with parents/carers and children.
