Nursery Admissions

Welcome to Belleville Nursery

Article ImageThank you for your interest in Belleville Nursery. Our Belleville Nursery is a very nurturing, self-contained space within the Webb's Road site where children feel settled, happy and safe, whilst beginning to develop their learning and independence. There is no nursery provision at Meteor Street.

From September 2026, Belleville Nursery will be offering a combination of full-time and part-time, term-time only places. This is in response to feedback from our community and to make it easier for working families.

We will be offering three types of place:

Full time sessions: Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm.

Part time session 1: Monday and Tuesday, 9am - 3pm, and Wednesday morning, 9am - 12pm.

Part time session 2: Wednesday afternoon, 12.30pm - 3.30pm, and Thursday and Friday, 9am - 3pm.

This is the same provision that is offered at other Q1E schools, including Belleville Wix Academy in this area.

Extended Hours

We can offer extended sessions until 3.30pm. These are outside of the 30 hours and are provided at a cost of £10 per hour. This is an additional cost of £25 per week for full-time places and £10 per week for part-time places.

There is no change to our admissions criteria. Nursery places will continue to be offered in the order detailed in the school’s admissions criteria which is available here. There will be a minimum of 13 full time places available.

Can I come and see the Nursery before applying?

We'd recommend coming on a school tour to see for yourself. We offer regular small group tours throughout the year as well as two larger open mornings each November. To find out more and book your place, please visit our School Tours page.

You can put in an application after the deadline and be added to the waiting list. The waiting list is kept in order of the admissions criteria so you may not automatically be at the bottom. As places become available, we will contact you to offer you a place. If this is after 1st July it will be in the Nursery session that has a place available.

Please note: Children who are currently in Belleville's Nursery are not automatically offered a place in Reception. Parents/Carers of current Nursery pupils should follow the application process for Reception.
