We actively seek to build a close relationship between home and school. We want to involve you in the life of the school and your child’s learning, and we encourage you to become involved from the start of your child’s time at Belleville. There are many ways you can support what we do. We will let you know what is going on in the classroom by informing you of the topics which we will be teaching.
Stay up to date: For the latest news please download ParentMail. Please check with the school office about how to do this. You can also follow us on Twitter @bellevillesch or on Instagram @belleville_school
Talk to us: Staff are always in the playground at the start and end of the day and this gives you the opportunity to share any any concerns that may arise. You can also contact us by phone or email - see our contact page for details.
Parent/Carer evenings: A formal parents' evening every term provides the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress.
Help in class: We always welcome any offers of assistance in the classroom. Parents can help in many ways from reading with pupils to helping on visits. Please let your child’s teacher know if you are interested. Parents who help with reading will be trained, so they understand how we teach this key skill at Belleville.
Parent views: We regularly seek parents' views.

Access wider information: We try to include useful links and information in our updates and on our website, for example about how to keep your child safe online. We also recommend having a look at ParentZone for a range of information - such as how parents can help their child cope with peer pressure and boost their body confidence.
